Temperature adaptation of soil bacterial communities across the Arctic

During my PhD, I explored how soil bacterial communities from across the Arctic region respond to temperature and whether theses responses will change after the communities are exposed to warmer soil climates.

Chapter 2

I show that temperature adaptation of soil bacterial communities varies greatly amongst 12  Arctic soils. The optimal growth temperature varied 23 and 34 °C.
